How to Choose Glove Weight: 450–800 g per Dozen

Glove weight is measured per dozen, not per pair. A 450 g dozen feels light and flexible; an 800 g dozen feels thick and lasts longer on rough surfaces. Both can be the right choice, for different jobs.

Start from the shift, not the catalogue. If workers wear gloves all day for light picking and packing, a lighter glove causes less hand fatigue. If the work is bricks, rough timber or scrap metal, a heavier glove pays for itself in fewer replacements.

A practical rule: 450 g for light handling, 550 g for general warehouse work, 650 g for construction and rough handling, 800 g for heavy, abrasive work. These are guides, not promises — the yarn matters too. When you inquire, give us the job and the weight you have in mind, and we will confirm the model weight before quoting.
