Gloves lose grip and shape in damp, sunny storage. A few simple habits keep bulk stock ready to wear, month after month.
Keep gloves dry and out of direct sunlight. Moisture weakens knit yarn, and heat and sun crack coatings. Store cartons off the floor, on pallets or shelves, in a clean and dry room.
Keep coated palms apart and unfolded. Stacking heavy cartons on coated gloves flattens the coating, so keep pairs flat and do not fold palms together for long periods.
Rotate stock, first in, first out. Use older cartons first, check one pair from each batch before shipping to a customer, and keep the storage room clean and dry.
